Donations to KickCancer are voluntary contributions that support research on children’s cancer.
By making a donation, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you are authorised to use the selected payment method.
Donations are by nature non-refundable, unless required by applicable law.
3.2 Recurring donations (SEPA domiciliation)
If you choose to make a recurring donation, you authorise KickCancer to debit your bank account at regular intervals for the amount you have selected.
This authorisation constitutes a SEPA direct debit mandate.
You have the right to:
- cancel your recurring donation at any time by contacting us.
- request a refund from your bank within 8 weeks of a debit, in accordance with SEPA rules.
KickCancer will confirm your recurring donation by email.
3.3 Tax reduction
Donations made to KickCancer may give rise to a tax reduction in Belgium, provided the applicable legal conditions are met.
The beneficiary of your donation is the Fund of the Friends of the KickCancer Foundation, managed by the King Baudouin Foundation, which is responsible for the issuance of the official tax certificates.
For donations made as of 1 January 2025, the tax reduction amounts to 30% of the donated amount. To qualify, the total amount of donations must be at least €40 per year per organisation (in the present case to any fund managed by the King Baudouin Foundation).
To issue a tax certificate, we are legally required to collect certain personal data, including your national registration number, in accordance with Belgian tax legislation. This information is used solely for this purpose.
Tax certificates are typically issued in the year following your donation (usually between March and April) and may also be available via MyMinfin.
Additional legal conditions apply, including limits on the total amount eligible for tax reduction and the requirement that donations are voluntary, definitive and made without any direct benefit in return.
For more detailed information, please refer to the official guidelines of the Belgian tax authorities.
