On 29 September 2024, KickCancer organised RUN TO KICK, its family charity race in Bois de la Cambre in Brussels. A total of 3 400 runners gathered at the starting line, to run (or walk) 2, 5 or 10 km.

Over 2 million euros to boost innovation

Our ambitious target was €1.5 million… but the meter soared to €1 975 432 on D-day and by the end of October, we reached a record of €2 030 000. Imagine how happy, excited and proud we were!

Exclusively dedicated to research on brain tumours

In 2024 our fundraising was exclusively dedicated to financing research on brain tumours: they remain among the deadliest types of paediatric cancers.

Thanks to our main sponsors Delhaize, the National Lottery and NRJ, 100% of the funds raised were invested in 8 innovative FIGHT KIDS CANCER research projects.

RUN TO KICK is a day filled with festive, positive, light and moving moments. It offers a sheer dose of hope and solidarity to families who are affected by childhood cancer. These families are the true VIPs at our event! Of course, we were also delighted to welcome our other fantastic stars; Angèle, Niels Destadsbader, Olivia and Kevin Borlée!

Year after year RUN TO KICK continues to grow, while keeping its warmth and family-friendly atmosphere. The full-day programme includes a warm-up, the run, great animation for kids, games, food trucks, bars and a KickCancer Shop. The cherry on the cake was the NRJ concert with Helena, Mustii, Jérémy Frérot, Sola and Berre!
